The most ardent Schumpeterians, despite their differences in pricing theories et cetera, with von Mises, are welcome here! Read a view on the most important of all theories by Schumpeter: Creative Destructionism. Next to Mises the "creative destructionism" theory is the best to prove Marxists (i.e., democrats) are dead wrong. Ludwig  on Mises, (or Hayek and Rothbard) and Joseph Alois Schumpeter (GREAT LINKS on America's greatest economist) were, and always will be smarter, more correct and lasting than the limp-wristed, non-worker socialist, J.M.  Keynes or out-and-out marxist commies like Samuelson and J.K. Galbraith! After all, isn't GOVERNMENT spending (thus taxation) a key component of Keynesian multipliers? Yet consumption functions of Liberal supporters of JMK are reserved for socialistic (government tax and spending) purposes in spite of the FACT that 2/3rds of our economy is based on consumer spending. Calconco should remind you that it was Dr. Ludwig von Mises, who in 1922 in the remarkable work "Socialism," (see link below) explained (nay, predicted) why Communism would fail because it had no means of economic calculation. An economy MUST have a cost and price system for everything. Under Communism there was no market to set prices, and supply is determined by the government. Prices are calculated in relation to supply and demand, yet under communism supply was determined by the government, regardless of demand. Everyone was forced to work so there was no competition for jobs. Therefore, the TRUE costs off productions were not known, and wages and prices for goods were purely arbitrary. In the democratic party, in socialist Mexico, Mandela's black-oppressive communist South Africa, or Mugabe's black-oppressive communist Rhodesia, or Kofi Anan's black-oppressive communist Ghana (now he leads the oppressive communist/terrorist/globalist UN!), or the oppressive American liberal/socialist/democratic party; especially California, New York, Missouri, South Dakota, and Vermont democrats, where they still actually believe MARX AS CORRECT! Remember, money given to the "poor," when spent is gone. It must be continually replaced by liberal gov't welfare, or charity. Neither by their nature eliminates poverty. There is only one viable alternative to liberal democratic welfare and charity that will eliminate poverty: ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT. It's time for all Democrats like Trouser-Trout, Chained-Heat, Daschle, Gephardt, Vermont, Yentas, Yentls, Tipsy and Tree Hugging Chicken Al, the Bushes, Neocons, to, well...I don't know...quit encouraging their fellow democrats to burn down millions of dollars of Vail, CO's hotel industry so the lynx has a warm place to s--- (Earl Butts reference). Not even a Steven Seagal movie is that stupid. Guess that's urban renewal Clinton-Gore-democrat style!! Usury, credit, taxation, the Fed Reserve, floating currency (thanks DICK) and commie Keynes enslaved us all! "We are ALL Keynesian now'"- The Big "Dick" Nixon. The big Dick was as bad as Carter, Clinton and Bush: Nationalized welfare, Affirmative Action, Food Stamps, Dept of Energy (disbanded like they should do Carter's NEA DOE!).
